Indikator Pembinaan Akhlakul Karimah Santri di Dayah (Suatu Konsepsi)

Abstract

Dayah or traditional Islamic boarding school that fosters human potential in a better direction. Dayah is also a place of education as a place for humans to be educated, nurtured and trained so that humans can have faith and piety, be virtuous, have good morals, and have extensive knowledge. Therefore the authors are interested in conducting more in-depth research on the importance of fostering the akhlakul karimah santri in Dayah. The results of the study show that the Dayah, who has carried out the development of akhlakul karimah so far, has become the spirit of the dayah itself, namely in a way that is recommended in Islam such as advising each other using the lecture method, providing exemplary examples, guiding, accompanied by concepts that have been determined in the Qur'an. 'an and hadith. Indicators of success can be seen in terms of the exemplary community around the dayah, both from teenagers and parents. The impact of indicators of success for the community is that they have carried out the shari'a well such as praying in congregation, dressing modestly, not committing crimes, no promiscuity, and the community is friendly and polite when guests come from outside.
