Perlindungan Hak Sehat Anak Perspektif Hukum Islam

Abstract

Islam pays special and serious attention to children, starting from when the child is still in the mother's womb until the child is nearing adulthood. The obligation to breastfeed (radha'ah), to care for (hadhanah), the mother's ability not to fast during pregnancy and breastfeeding, the obligation to provide a halal and nutritious living, to be fair in giving, to give a good name, to give birth, to circumcise, to educate, is a manifestation of love such dear. Throughout 2020, 6,519 complaints of violations of children's rights were received, which was the highest number in the past 10 years. KPAI found 1,098 cases of children dealing with the law, 128 cases of social and children in emergency situations, 139 cases of religion and culture, 70 cases of health and drugs, and 1,011 other cases of child protection. Protecting children's right to health is essentially maintaining children's health, which is an obligation, both maintenance of physical and mental health so that children can grow normally, not be afflicted by physical or mental illness. Fulfillment of adequate and balanced nutrition and vitamins both while in the womb and after the child is born. When a child is born into the world, child health care is given to efforts for healthy growth, prevention, and healing. Fulfilling the basic rights of health in Islam apart from radhaah (breastfeeding) and circumcision, is also in the form of prevention and treatment of disease. In Islam protecting children from disease is mandatory.
